- Words: each theme has 16 bingo words, the same ones as the theme's printables in Festidy's planner. 80 of our 83 themes have them.
- 3 x 3, for little kids: each card picks 9 of the 16 words, so cards hold different words and one card wins first. With a free middle square, a card has 8 words and a head start: every line through the middle needs only 2 words.
- 4 x 4: every card has all 16 words in a different order. That means every card fills up on the same call, so play to the first row, column or diagonal, never a full card. There's no middle square on a 4 x 4 grid, so no free space.
- Every card different: no two cards in a set have the same layout. Shuffle makes a new set; the link keeps yours.
- Printing: 2 cards to a page in the theme's colors, then the caller's sheet of 16 words to cut out.
- How many cards: one per kid plus 2 spares, the same rule of thumb as Festidy's favors.

Tips for party bingo
- Use crayons or stickers to mark. Kids can take their card home as a coloring page.
- Read slowly and show the word. Hold up each word from the caller's sheet so kids who can't read yet can match it.
- Keep playing after the first bingo. Hand out small prizes as more kids call it, so nobody leaves without one.
- Fill a quiet slot. Bingo is calm, about 15 minutes, and works well while kids wait for cake or pizza.

How do you play bingo at a kids' party?
Give each kid a card and a crayon. Draw a word from the caller's sheet, read it out and hold it up; kids mark it if they have it. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal calls "Bingo."
How many bingo cards do I need?
One per kid plus 2 spares. A party for 12 guests usually has about 7 kids, so print 9 cards.
Should bingo cards have a free space?
On a 3 x 3 card for little kids, yes: it gives everyone a head start and keeps the game short. A 4 x 4 card has no middle square, so it uses all 16 words.
Do you have baby shower bingo?
Yes, in the shower themes: pick Bows, Garden tea party, Rainbow or Bugs and butterflies. The words follow the theme's decor rather than baby gifts, so they suit a shower where kids play too.
How long does a game of bingo take?
About 10 to 15 minutes for a few rounds. Winter bingo in Festidy's Winter wonderland theme is planned at 15 minutes.
