Games and activities for your fairy party

Fairy door hunt
Tape paper fairy doors low on walls, tree trunks and fence posts, each with a flap. Kids find the doors with a grown-up and a basket, and peek behind each flap for a big sticker. Whoever finds every door gets a paper flower crown.
You’ll need: Paper fairy doors with flaps, 6 to 8, Large stickers, Tape, Paper flower crowns

Wand dance
Give every child a ribbon wand: long ribbons taped to a cardboard tube. Play slow music and then fast music, and kids twirl and flutter to match. When the music stops, they freeze like a fairy on a toadstool.
You’ll need: Cardboard tubes, Ribbons, 3 feet long, Tape, Speaker and a playlist

Fairy dust toss
Lay hula hoops on the grass as fairy rings, near and far. From a tape line, each child tosses five bean bags, the fairy dust, and the near rings score 1 while the far ones score 3. Everyone gets a turn, and everyone gets a sticker.
You’ll need: Hula hoops, 3, Soft bean bags, 5 per child, Masking tape, Stickers

Decorate a fairy house
Give each child a paper lunch bag to color and decorate with crayons, stickers and large felt flowers that a grown-up glues on. They name the fairy who lives inside and set the house on a green cloth.
You’ll need: Paper lunch bags, Crayons and washable markers, Stickers, Large felt flowers and glue sticks
